Hi there, and welcome to my frequently asked questions page! 😊 Here, you’ll find all the answers to the most common questions probably you may ask.
Q: So, what’s this website all about then?
A: This is my special place where I can relax and think, and where I share some of the projects I’m working on and reflect on my learning journey. It’s not about selling anything, it’s just a quiet space for me to store ideas and grow.
⸻
Q: I totally understand why you’re switching careers, but I’m just curious: what’s your motivation for making this change?
A: After spending almost two decades in a fast-paced industry, I felt the need to slow down and refocus. I’m not abandoning creativity — I’m just redirecting it towards long-term goals that align more with who I’ve become. Change isn’t failure. It’s clarity.
⸻
Q: So, tell me, are you still in the food or hospitality business?
A: I’m still working as a chef to keep my cash flow going at the moment. But in mentally; no, not really. I do love to cook and I always will. But right now, I’m focusing on studying business and management, and getting to know all about how creativity, systems and learning all fit together. At the same time, I’ve started developing a narrative-driven, point-and-click detective game inspired by titles like Runaway and Disco Elysium. It’s a deeply personal and creative project that blends storytelling, design, and interactive media something I’ve always dreamed of doing.
⸻
Q: I’m wondering if you’d be up for taking on some freelance or collaboration work?
A: Not at the moment, I’m so busy with education and personal projects at the moment, but if there’s something you think might be a good fit for me, please do get in touch!
⸻
Q: I would absolutely love to know what you’re working on!
A: I tend to be here quite a lot. I don’t really like social media that much these days. If I write something, publish something or create something, I’ll share it here first.
⸻
Q: I’m wondering if you could tell me why this site is so minimal?
A: I really like things that breathe, you know? I didn’t want a busy design, just a space for words and honest work.
⸻
Q: I’m curious, do you have a podcast?
A: Yes, I’m currently hosting a podcast in Turkish. It’s mostly centered around storytelling, personal experiences and sometimes fiction. It’s called “Bilmiyorum Ama Anlatayım” which translates as “I don’t know, but let me tell you”– a phrase I really like! I’m working on an English version, but I’m not going to rush it.
